Come and Try Croquet!

Give croquet a try!  Meadows Croquet Club will be running a series of beginners coaching sessions in 2008 starting on Monday 5^th May.  The course will consist of six introductory coaching sessions running on Monday afternoons and evenings from 5^th May to 9^th June.   You can join either the afternoon or evening sessions, whichever is more convenient for you.  The afternoon sessions will start at 3.30 pm each Monday and the evening sessions at 6.30 pm.  They will each run for a couple of hours.

The course costs £20, and if you decide to join the club at the end then the fee will be deducted from your subscription.

Don't worry if you know nothing about croquet - this course is designed for you.  Or if you have played croquet before, perhaps in the garden, but aren't really sure about all the rules, then come along - we'll teach you everything you need to know.

All you need to bring is a pair of flat soled shoes (trainers are fine).  The club has all the other equipment you will need.  Refreshments will be provided.

It would help with the organisation of the course if we knew roughly how many people to expect, so if you are interested then please register here.  This won't commit you to coming, but will enable us to keep you posted.
